09/03/2010  Annabelle Road
With a big-as-the-room sound, the ability to rock the doors off the toughest clubs, the heart to keep a crowd hanging on every note and the party going till closing time, Annabelle Road blows in from the intersection where rural and urban sensibilities meet. Motor City's rich musical well by way of Butcher Holler, this barnstorming band fuses the best of rock and country seamlessly to their polished originals. Mass appeal is guaranteed from the rockers to the honky tonkers. It's trucker hats and big hair in a chopper shop. Moonshine on steel wheels. If you're ready to rock out on a Carrie Underwood-meets-Johnny Cash-by way of-Skynard trip, do not miss the opportunity to experience the joyride that is Annabelle Road. Stars have aligned from the start for the members of Annabelle Road. Not many acts can claim being handpicked as "Next Big Star" finalists on Kenny Chesney's "Poets & Pirates" tour as their auspicious debut. In no time they had radio-ready single "Let You Bleed" in frequent rotation on Michigan's country dials--its airplay pre-selling out shows all over the state. Since then the group's electrifying stage presence has continued to captivate all comers, from Detroit's Downtown Hoedown to supporting heavyweights like Phil Vassar and Gretchen Wilson. "We keep knocking on doors that are too big to be knocked on and they keep opening," marvels front woman Amanda Bailey. Celebrating release of their new album on sale sale June 5, 2010 online and at annabelleroad.com and at shows this summer across the Midwest, the band could not be more thrilled to deliver the goods to fans. "We are SO EXCITED to put this album out!" says Amanda. "When we realized how many people were asking for OUR music on their ipod, we wanted to get in the studio more than ever. Tickets will be available at the door the night of the performance.

09/03/2010  LoCash Cowboys
For Chris and Preston, Locash is a way of life. It doesn't mean you are poor or have no money. It just means that some of the best things in life are free-or LoCash. It's remembering who you are and where you came from. The Locash Cowboys are a dynamic duo who put on one of the most high energy performances around today. They have been nominated twice for the CMA “Duo-of-the-Year,” and have performed at the CMA Music Festival for four years. The LoCash Cowboys have criss-crossed the country, honing their craft on stages large and small, developing one of the most dynamic live shows in any genre of music. Along the way, they have sold more than 60,000 copies of their homemade CD, earned endorsements from the likes of Budweiser, shared bills with artists including Charlie Daniels and ZZ Top, performed at halftime of NBA and U.S. Olympic team basketball games, and earned television appearances ranging from Tanya Tucker's reality show "Tuckerville" to "Pageant School: Becoming Miss America," writing the theme songs for both. Theirt debut album, called This Is How We Do It, is a fitting introduction to a compellingly charismatic duo, a well-rounded CD that captures all the excitement of their stage performance while displaying a softer, more philosophical side as well. The project's first single, "You Got Me," is the best of both worlds. Penned by Chris and Preston, it is, quite simply, a love song that rocks. Just in time for summer, their new single, “Here Comes Summer” is available, so be sure to check it out. Tickets will be available the night of the show at the door.

09/04/2010  The JaneDear Girls
There may be no better place to start, when talking about the JaneDear girls, than with the description offered by their producer, John Rich.  “They are,” he says, “the girls next door that kick country A**,,,”  Danelle and Susie were each pursuing careers when a friend suggested Danelle see Susie perform at a Nashville club. Before long, the two tried writing together, and from the moment they finished their first song together, they knew that they were a duo. After they performed at a Muzik Mafia event, John Rich became a huge supporter, helping them ink deals with Warner Music Nashville (under the guidance of Scott Hendricks), Sony/ATV Tree Music Publishing and Turner Nichols & Associates Management firm. JaneDear girls’ debut single, “Wildflower,” is a perfect an introduction to their high energy, soaring harmonies, and world-class instrumental prowess as a country fan could ask for. It’s also a song whose very roots express the organic unity of the approach Susie and Danelle take to life and music. The JaneDear girls will be kicking off the live music for our White Trash Bash. We'll have great white trash drink specials including: $2 PBR tall boys, $1.25 Busch Light and Keystone cans, and $4 Frozen Margaritas and Daquiris.   NO COVER tonight if you're wearing Jorts or a mesh hat!

09/10/2010  Brantley Gilbert
Brantley Gilbert knows that tomorrow is no guarantee. Just over five years ago the talented singer/songwriter was ignoring his deepest ambition of becoming a country singer and was just going through the motions of everyday life. It wasn’t until a nearly-fatal car accident that Brantley opened his eyes, realized the importance of living each day to the fullest, and decided to pursue his love for music as a career. With the fans demanding new music from Brantley, he came to Nashville, Tennessee where he soon signed with Warner Chappell Publishing and began to develop music for a debut album release. One of his songs, “The Best of Me,” was recorded by Jason Aldean and earned a spot on his Walmart exclusive release (WIDE OPEN) and ITunes. Since, Brantley has signed a record deal with Average Joe’s Entertainment and collaborated with top-charting act and labelmate Colt Ford to write and record, “Dirt Road Anthem,” which is currently featured on Ford’s multiple-week Top 25 Billboard album, RIDE THROUGH THE COUNTRY. Brantley celebrates the release of his sophomore album, HALFWAY TO HEAVEN, in March 2010 leading off with the single “Kick It In the Sticks.” HALFWAY TO HEAVEN follows his 2009 release, A MODERN DAY PRODIGAL SON, which features hit singles, “G.R.I.T.S.” and “Whenever We’re Alone.” Tickets are now on sale through Joe's box office or online at www.joesbar.com

09/11/2010  Chris Weaver Band
The Chris Weaver Band has proved that they can rock out with the best of them, so we just had to have them back again. As an artist in Nashville, Tenn., it is hard to make a name for yourself, and much less a living, in a town that is over-saturated with talented musicians, each trying to get their foot in the door to the elite Music City. However, the Chris Weaver Band has managed to accomplish this feat in a mere two years. They have claimed two of the city’s most-wanted gigs at the legendary Stage and hip live music joint, Tin Roof, where the crowd packs in each weekend to dance and sing-along to the plethora of covers, recreated in their own style and groove. Their ability to preserve the original idea of the song, while adding their own flavor has set the Chris Weaver Band a part from the flock of eager musicians in Nashville. Their eclectic set list manages to touch the vast array of musical genres, keeping the crowd engaged and begging for more. A new face in the crowd might even mistake their catalog of originals for cover songs, as seasoned fans belt out every lyric to “So Damn Beautiful.” This local favorite has the Chris Weaver Band spinning regularly on Nashville’s local radio station, Lightning 100. Hit likes these are what keep the Chris Weaver Band from becoming ‘just another cover band on Broadway’ and entice listeners to purchase their self-titled debut album. With their fan-base growing at a fast pace, the Chris Weaver Band is becoming a highly-demanded entertainment favorite, even outside of the Nashville-area. Tickets will be available the night of the show at the door!

The debut single, “Giddy On Up,” is an irresistibly upbeat and saucy kiss-off to a cheating lover, while the romantic “Drop On By” oozes sensuality as she beckons a lover to visit. She originated the lead role of Elle Woods in the Broadway musical Legally Blonde, for which she received a Tony Award nomination. She also originated the role of Amber Von Tussle in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Hairspray and played Glinda in the smash hit Wicked.

09/16/2010  Troy Olsen
That Troy Olsen’s songs invoke images of deserts, tumbleweeds and small towns is not by chance. Growing up in rural Arizona, Troy has lived the life of the American cowboy. Raised in tiny Duncan, Ariz., not far from the New Mexico line, Troy split his time between his parents’ ranch and his grandparents’, where he worked with his cousins. His grandparents didn’t have electricity, but during the day a portable radio pulled in the signal from a local AM station. Along the way, Troy has co-wrote a hit song for Blake Shelton, the top 10 “I’ll Just Hold On,” and a cut that Tim McGraw recorded for his Southern Voice album, “Ghost Town Train.” He wrote the latter song, a plaintive cry for a lost lover, with hit songwriter Marv Green (George Strait’s “It Just Comes Natural”). The song represented a breakthrough for Troy. In the fall of 2009, he took six of his self-penned songs and performed them at a Nashville showcase packed with the industry’s elite. His unique western sound, lived-in voice, and authentic delivery were unanimously well received. The following day Troy signed with the legendary EMI, home to Capitol Records artists as varied and successful as Frank Sinatra, Garth Brooks, and Keith Urban. His first single “Summer Thing,” which he penned with Ben Hayslip and Jimmy Yeary, is an enchanting ode to warm weather and women. Troy’s usage of modern techniques applied to traditional country songs creates a unique sound that’s undeniably country, but fresh. His songs resonate with the richness of the American Southwest while still representative of 21st century culture. Tickets are $5 and will be available the night of the show at the door. The first 100 people in the door tonight will receive a Troy Olsen 4 song CD!

09/17/2010  Tyler Reeve
Jeans. T-shirt. Boots. Guitar. Tyler's appearance is indicative of his style of music. Simple, straight forward and candid. Born in Mobile, Alabama, Tyler's music is well rooted in Southern Americana. Growing up listening to his uncle play guitar and sing on the porch deck of a beach house, Tyler's inspiration came at an early age. Tyler attended the Florida State University, where he became refreshingly dependent on his fan base. Paying his dues and performing in bars for eight years before recording his first album, Whiskey Down (February, 2008), he has tailored his music to the live venue. His performances are infectiously enjoyable and fun. Tyler's blend of Texas-style, raw country and Americana finds audiences that wait with open arms and raised glasses. If you haven't experienced the phenomenon that is Corey Smith, you are missing out. Thanks to his astonishing gift for crafting addictively soulful songs and the high-energy reputation of his shows, Corey Smith is one of modern country’s hottest young artists, a quintessentially indie performer with a dedicated following most Nashville-fueled hat racks would trade their flashy limos for. Keeping Up with the Joneses is the sixth release on Corey’s own Undertone Records label and has a more radio-ready sound than his earlier discs, most of which center on his foundation as a solo acoustic performer. Besides the quality of his music, though, a huge part of Corey’s success has been the wildfire-like viral chatter of his rabidly file-sharing fans—which flatters him to no end. “I want my music to be heard by as many people as possible,” he says. “So I’m just grateful that people are out there spreading it around. It’s what’s made my career possible.”  Read what his fans are saying: "Corey Smith's music is life. It's here and now. It's what I did last Thursday!" - Eric L. "Corey Smith is its own genre here." - Scott W. "Corey's music captures college in a nutshell: friends, late nights, and lasting memories." - Blake A. Piedmont College c/o '09 "Corey's music tells OUR story. Just getting through life with some good friends, a few drinks, and a lot of help from the Man upstairs." - Mitch H. Come out for Monday Night Football to catch the Bears Vs. Packers and you'll also get an awesome musical treat. Former NFL player Kyle Turley (Saints, Rams, and Chiefs) will be around to perform after the game. When you see Kyle Turley singing up on stage, you're seeing the skateboarder and surfer from Southern California and the NFL warrior who battled on the football field. You're seeing a guy who made good every chance he got - even when it seemed the whole world was against him. Turley's first album, Anger Management, bears witness to those times. His songs come from the passion he still feels for the game and its players; but it's more than just that. His songs are full of raw and intense emotion. They're real. They're unapologetic. They tell the story of that warrior who wants to get back to the stadium - but this time with guitars in hand instead of helmets. The games may change, but Kyle Turley doesn't. He's the same guy who fights for injured and retired NFL players, the same guy who writes songs about the bad guys and the heroes. He's the guy who stands up for what he believes. Kyle Turley's not going to stop. He doesn't know how to.

The Randy Rogers Band is a live act centered around songs that fit the rowdy, party vibe of the concert circuit, but their songs also say something. When the Randy Rogers Band’s album debuted as the most-downloaded country album on iTunes, plenty of the industry “insiders” on Music Row were left scratching their heads: Who are these guys? The Nashville elite may not have known about the five-piece band, but much of America already did. Rolling Stone magazine ranked them alongside such artists as U2 and the Stones in its list of Top 10 Must-See Artists in the summer of 2007. They earned $2.5 million—a staggering total for a stilldeveloping act—on the tour circuit in a single year. Willie Nelson, the Eagles, Gary Allan and Dierks Bentley all picked them as opening acts for their concerts. And more than 2,200 people showed up and bought the bands album at an appearance at Wherehouse Music. The bands 7th album, Burning the Day, came out out August 24th, so you'll be able to hear some brand new music! The most recent single, “Too Late for Goodbye” is out on radio now. As one-half of the superstar Country duo Brooks & Dunn, Brooks has won 19 CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year and an unprecedented 14 wins as Vocal Duo of the Year. The duo, who hosted the CMA Awards for three consecutive years (2004-2006), is currently in the midst of their Farewell Tour, which concludes on Sept. 2 in Nashville. The group scored their first Top 20 hit earlier this year with their debut single, “Hip To My Heart,” written by the trio and Brett Beavers. But it’s their second single, the thought-provoking “If I Die Young,“  that is bringing them to the attention of fans throughout the world.  Murphy wrote or co-wrote every song on his debut album, Out With a Bang, including “Just Once” (featured on the soundtrack of the movie 8 Seconds), “Dust on the Bottle” (which spent two weeks at No. 1), and “Party Crowd,” which was named the  most-played song on Country radio in 1995. In addition to his own successful performing career, Murphy has written No. 1 hits for Kenny Chesney (“Living in Fast Forward”) and Jason Aldean (“Big Green Tractor”). Host DiPiero is one of Nashville's most consistent and prolific writers of hits, remaining at the top of his profession more than two decades after hitting No. 1 on the charts for the first time in 1983. 10/15/2010  Chris Young
It’s that combination of youthful enthusiasm and seasoned musicianship that have earned Young both the respect of his elders and the devotion of country fans. His self-titled RCA Records debut project made him country’s best-selling new male artist of 2006 and earned him a nod in the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Male Vocalist category. Produced by James Stroud, Young’s sophomore set builds on that momentum with a solid collection of songs that not only showcase his skills as a vocalist, but also provide a portrait of Young---the things he values and believes in. One of Youngs heroes, the legendary Willie Nelson, joins Young on his new album. The two duet on "Rose in Paradise", a cover of the hauntingly beautiful Waylon Jennings’ classic. "I love Waylon and I love traditional music," says Young, who is touring with Martina McBride this year. "We sent Willie a copy and he came in to record it. I still can’t believe I got to spend time in the studio with Willie Nelson!" Not only is Young an amazing songwirter, but he's also not bad on the eyes. This summer he was featured in People magazine as one of the hottest men in country music. $5 from each ticket will go to Fishers House Charity. The Fisher House program is a unique private-public partnership that supports America's military in their time of need. The program recognizes the special sacrifices of our men and women in uniform and the hardships of military service by meeting a humanitarian need beyond that normally provided by the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. Because members of the military and their families are stationed worldwide and must often travel great distances for specialized medical care, Fisher House Foundation donates "comfort homes," built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful times - during the hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury. Tickets will go on sale TBD! 10/17/2010  Paul Thorn
Born in Tupelo, Mississippi and raised among the same spirits (and some of the actual people) who nurtured a young Elvis generations before, Thorn has rambled down back roads and jumped out of airplanes, worked for years in a furniture factory, battled four-time world champion boxer Roberto Durán on national television, signed with and been dropped by a major label, opened for Bonnie Raitt, Mark Knopfler, and John Prine among many other headliners, and made some of the most emotionally restless yet fully accessible music of our time. Pimps & Preachers, his most recent album, addresses this lingering riddle. On Thorn's ninth album, released on his own Perpetual Obscurity label (through Thirty Tigers/RED), the answer begins in the title and the cover image, painted by Thorn with the same power, paradoxes, rough edges and passions that animate his writing and performance. Specifically, it takes us to a central theme of Thorn's youth: the pull of polar opposites - one representing the severe ecstasies of fundamental faith and the other, the pleasures stigmatized and yet glamorized by the church. Every moment on Pimps & Preachers speaks universally but with a fluency that stems from the earthy blues, haunted old-school country, and stripped-down urgency of the gospel music that surrounded Thorn throughout his Mississippi upbringing. 'Pimps & Preachers,' is enjoying a third week at #1 on the Americana Chart after debuting on the Billboard Top 200 at #77. Tickets are $10 and will go on sale TBD!
