COUNTRY STAR DARRYL WORLEY TO

AT JOE'S BAR IN CHICAGO, IL

THURSDAY, APRIL 8

Country music star DARRYL WORLEY will perform at Joe's Bar in Chicago, IL on Thursday, April 8. Doors open at 7:00pm with Worley's concert beginning at 9:30pm. Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations, by phone at 312-559-1212 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Prior to pursuing a career in music, Darryl Worley spent much of his young adult years on various jobs -- research biologist, school teacher and car salesman among them -- before forming a chemical supply business with friends. While the company was a huge success, Worley's creative side grew restless and one day he realized  he wanted to give the music business ashot. He sold his stock in the company and moved to Nashville, where he was ultimately signed to a major record deal.

Since then, Worley's career in the music business has been impressive. He has scored numerous award nominations and sold more than two million copies worldwide.
With 18 charted singles under his belt, including "A Good Day To Run," "When You Need My Love" and chart-toppers, "I Miss My Friend," "Have You Forgotten" and "Awful, Beautiful Life," Worley has won over the world of country music in his decade-long career.

Sounds Like Life is Worley's sixth, and most recent studio album release. He wrote eight of the 11 tunes on the album, which has brought respect and praise from his peers for his honest songwriting that speaks from the heart. The album's debut single, "Sounds Like Life To Me" quickly soared up the country singles chart landing Worley yet another Top 10 song. His brand new single titled "Best of Both Worlds" was recently released to country radio and is already becoming a fan favorite.

Worley has also been passionately involved in his annual Tennessee River Run festival that raises money for various charities in his hometown community, including The Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center. The center will allow area cancer patients to receive therapy without the long drives currently required of many who need radiation and chemotherapy treatment. The center is tentatively scheduled to open its doors in early 2011.

Honoring and serving the men and women of America's Armed Forces has always been important to Worley.  He's made six trips overseas to entertain the troops since 2002 and will be returning for a Stars and Stripes tour in Iraq in late April.

Worley is presently hitting  the road full-force, with more than 100 concerts scheduled across the country this year, where he'll deliver a  powerful show for his fans with the same fire and passion he's had since day one.
