From Music City’s broadway scene to the Tennessee Hills you’ve most likely heard the name Chase Matthew. Chase, currently Co-Signed by Ryan Upchurch, has garnered an astounding 70 Million streams in a short 4 months with his project “County Line”. With a rising position on billboard charts for 18 weeks and being placed on the biggest country playlists and stations (Hot Country, Todays Country, New Boots, The Highway XM) Chase has remained humble in his faith. This God fearing artist is known for never turning down an opportunity to meet a fan, his friendly smile, and remaining grateful for every twist life throws his way. Currently Chase is preparing his new album “Born For This” dropping February 2022 which will include him hitting the road an playing venues across the nation. This small town Tennessee boy still has a hard time believing he deserves the success he has achieved to this point. And he’s not the only one. It wasn’t uncommon for naysayers and industry suits to turn up their noses at this high school dropout. His audition for a prominent Nashville music school earned him little more than a definitive comment from the casting director: ”He isn’t good enough”. While this experience had Chase questioning his path, his father offered encouragement, “Don’t listen to him son. He doesn’t know anything. He’s wrong! Son, you were born for this.” Armed with the confidence of his father and a passion for writing, recording, and performing music, Chase poured himself into his craft. The recording studio and stage became his classroom. Chase’s father wasn’t the only one who provided support. His step father Jeff gave him his first recording equipment and helped Chase navigate a studio. His Mamaw provided a solid musical foundation with her background as a church organist. His mother and father, both having strong musical backgrounds, provided a foundation for creativity. Uncles, Pastors, and friends also lent unwavering support to the young talent. It is certain there have been people who have said plenty about Chase Matthew since the beginning of his journey, but one thing he’s shown us is true…He was born for this.

If you like country music and you’re on any social media app, you’ve probably seen Cooper Alan on your screen in the past two years. The up-and-coming country star has independently built a fanbase of over 8.5 million followers and has earned over 80 million streams on his music. Originally from Winston Salem, NC, he spent his high school and college years playing bars, college campuses, and Honky Tonks all across the Carolinas. He and his band became the “go to” for great music and a high energy, all night throwdown performance. After graduation, Cooper packed up his guitar and moved to Nashville as fast as he could, where he had the incredible luck of meeting hit songwriter/producer Victoria Shaw who signed him within weeks to a publishing deal. He is fortunate and proud to have the opportunity to write songs with people like Rivers Rutherford, Seth Mosley, Matt Nolen, Skip Black, Kent Blazy, Desmond Child, Jeffrey Steele, and Victoria Shaw. (Cooper’s music has been streamed over 50 million times) His hit singles include “New Normal”, “Tough Ones”, “Colt 45 (Country Remix)”, “Can’t Dance”, and many more. His songs have reached #1 on the iTunes Charts multiple times. This past year, Cooper started his own record label (Cooped Up Records) and began to translate his social media audience into killer live shows, selling out venues all across the country. Because of his streaming and live touring success, he was named a “Next Big Thing” artist by Music Row Magazine.

A staple in the Texas music scene since forming in 2006 at Lubbock's Texas Tech University, Josh Abbott Band has weathered many storms together including divorces, burying their fathers, the Route 91 Harvest shooting and a pandemic. Country fans have been singing JAB songs for more than a decade already. The seven-piece group's relentless on-stage attitude quickly made it a successful touring act, building out from a Texas band to a regional act to a national crew with a devout following from coast to coast. Concurrently, JAB developed its own label, Pretty Damn Tough Records, before that was an accepted practice in country circles. Two of their projects, Small Town Family Dream and Front Row Seat, scored top 10 debuts on the Billboard country album charts, while five titles cracked the Billboard country singles lists, including a pair - "Oh, Tonight" with Kacey Musgraves, and "Wasn't That Drunk" with Carly Pearce - that represented their first chart appearances. Led by the true-to-life cycles in Abbott's life, Abbott ambitiously documented the dissolution of first marriage in Front Row Seat. And the expansive Until My Voice Goes Out, recorded as Abbott tended to an ailing father, mixed elegant strings and a Memphis-tipped horn sound. In 2020 JAB released their 6th studio album The Highway Kind, the band's follow-up to 2017's string and horn-infused Until My Voice Goes Out, the uplifting 10-track album was recorded at Sonic Ranch in El Paso and produced by Marshall Altman (Marc Broussard, Frankie Ballard, Aaron Watson).

Experience the ultimate post-punk revival from one of your favorite Spanish bands when you see Tributo Heroes Del Silencio. Also known as Heroes of Silence in English, the original lineup of the band originated from Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain and was founded in 1984. They released their debut album in 1988 to critical acclaim, which was entitled El Mar No Cesa. The album climbed its way to No. 56 on album charts in Spain and earned Platinum certification for exceeding the sales threshold. Their subsequent album was even more commercially successful.

Aside from peaking as No. 1 on album charts in Spain, it also peaked as No. 17 and No. 40 on album charts in Germany and Switzerland. Other than that, it earned a three-time Platinum certification in Spain and Platinum certifications in both Germany and Switzerland as well. Perhaps their most popular album was El Espiritu del Vino (1993), which charted No. 1 on Spain’s album charts, as well as within the top 15 on album charts in three other countries. Anyone looking for cultural diversity in their post-punk tunes should consider purchasing Tributo Heroes Del Silencio tickets.

The tribute band often plays Heroes Del Silencio’s top hits, such as “Entre dos tierras”, “Los Placeres de la Pobreza”, and “Nuestros nombres.” The latter peaked as No. 1 on the Spanish song charts and as No. 40 on the Gfk Entertainment charts (Germany) upon its release. Tributo Heroes Del Silencio pays homage to the iconic Spanish rock band for good reason, as they have been touted throughout mainstream media. Numerous films and documentaries have featured the band, including Netflix’s Heroes: Silencio and Rock & Roll (2021).

Authentic and unapologetic, Tyler Farr records songs he would listen to in his truck – windows down, sound up. It just so happens country music fans want to hear the same songs. Without pandering or compromise, Farr’s powerhouse vocals, real-guy relatability, and willingness to mine emotional themes and personal imperfection resonates with people searching to find themselves in the music that underscores their daily routines and future dreams. Farr signed his first recording contract in 2012 and released his debut album, Redneck Crazy in 2013. The record landed at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200. Farr’s Platinum-selling title-track “Redneck Crazy” launched back-to-back No. 1 singles, including his first No. 1 as a songwriter, with his Platinum-certified hit “Whiskey in my Water.” His sophomore album, Suffer In Peace released in 2015, followed suit, also making its debut in the Top 5 on both the Billboard Top 200 Albums and Billboard Country Albums charts, which made Farr the only solo male Country artist in a decade to have his first two studio albums debut in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. Farr has charted three #1 hits (“Redneck Crazy,” “Whiskey in My Water,” and “A Guy Walks Into a Bar”) and has been included in CRS New Faces of Country Radio and was nominated for Music Row’s “Breakthrough Artist of the Year.” He has also earned coveted slots touring with Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Brantley Gilbert, and Luke Combs. Media outlets paid attention with Rolling Stone calling Farr a “no-frills musician who pours his drinks as hard as he pours his heart into his songs.” In March 2019, Farr singed a new record deal with BBR Music Group under Jason Aldean’s Night Train Records imprint, where he is solidly in the driver seat with his favorite songs on the radio. Aldean and Tyler are currently in the studio finalizing music for an upcoming full album. Farr’s latest single, “Cover Girl,” was recently released to all digital streaming platforms and tackles the harrowing issues of domestic violence and the lasting impact on the lives it touches.

Chase McDaniel was raised by grandparents in the small town of Greensburg, Kentucky with traditional family values and old school country music. He was taught to bet on himself and that, paired with his rich baritone voice. All of that comes together as his latest song debuts #1 on the Billboard and iTunes country single charts and #4 all genres chart, an unprecedented feat for an independent artist.

Having some tough times early on, the music of George Jones, Johnny Cash, and Conway Twitty, and family who loved singing gospel, resonated with Chase developed a bit of an old soul when it comes to music. He started performing doing covers of Johnny Cash and started developing his own voice too.

Like many other musicians, he eventually made his way to Nashville. But with the pandemic and out of work, he was down to his last $12 and ready to pack up and head home when a friend loaned him money to stay a couple more weeks. Luck struck as one of the 50 restaurants he sent applications to offered him a job. He gave this shot everything he had — working double shifts, sleeping as little as four hours a night and writing and recording with his producer and best friend Jerry Jacobs every other minute of the day. After two years, he was able to quit his job and focus on music full-time.

What he’s developed — the sound, work ethic, and more are all uniquely his own as Chase is a true independent artist. He released his first song, “Relapse”, and has garnered over 4 million on demand streams and his current single, “Project”, also released without industry hype on May 27, debuted at #1 on the iTunes country chart and #4 all genres as well as #1 on the Billboard Country Digital song sales, #4 Billboard all genre chart, and #46 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Project” has over 5 million on demand streams in just the first 3 weeks.

It’s clear that Chase McDaniel blends old and new to deliver something incredibly unique and listeners can’t get enough of it!

In the last few years alone, Giovannie & The Hired Guns have grown from a massively beloved local live act to an undeniable new force on the national rock scene. Formed back when frontman Giovannie Yanez was working the counter at a pawnshop, the Stephenville, Texas-based band has amassed millions of streams almost entirely through word-of-mouth, thanks in no small part to their unforgettable live show—an electrifying spectacle that invariably leaves audiences sweat-drenched and ecstatic. With their high-octane collision of rock-and-roll and country, Giovannie & The Hired Guns are now at work on a hotly anticipated new album showcasing their hard-hitting sound, emotionally raw storytelling, and the kind of authentically gritty energy that’s sorely missing from rock music today.

As revealed on their 2017 full-length debut Bad Habits and 2020 self-titled album, Giovannie & The Hired Guns draw much of their power from the eclectic sensibilities at the heart of the band: drummer Milton Toles, for instance, brings a soulful intensity deeply informed by playing music in church as a kid, while guitarist Jerrod Flusche’s background includes session work with such prominent country acts as Koe Wetzel and Sam Riggs & the Night People. With their lineup rounded out by guitarist Carlos Villa and bassist Alex Trejo, the band also taps into elements of everything from Southern rock and stoner metal to la musica norteña and Latin hip-hop. “We’re all from different walks of life, and we all have our own unique style that we add to the band,” says Yanez. “No one’s ever telling anyone else how or what to play; we just show up and jam out and it all comes together so naturally—nothing is ever forced with us.”

Originally from the Northern Texas town of Mineral Wells, Yanez first explored his soul-baring approach to songwriting at the age of 17 (“It pretty much started right after the first big heartbreak,” he notes). Around that same time, he began performing at local dive bars while holding down a job at a nearby rock quarry. “I’d go play gigs and be out till about three in the morning, then get up to go to work at seven—it was a struggle for a while, but I knew this was what I wanted to do with my life,” says Yanez. Not long after landing his job at the pawnshop, Yanez crossed paths with Trejo and soon began assembling the Hired Guns lineup, then pushed forward with an equally grueling gig schedule. “When we first started out it was always, ‘Hey guys, can you play a four-hour set with two breaks? Here’s $200,’” Yanez recalls. As word got out about their can’t-miss live performance, the band began selling out shows all across their home state, in addition to sharing stages with the likes of Read Southall Band and Kody West. And in a particularly thrilling turn, 2019 saw Giovannie & The Hired Guns opening for platinum-selling country star Jason Aldean to a crowd of 36,000 at Globe Life Park stadium.

Each released without the support of a record label, Giovannie & The Hired Guns’ two studio albums have drastically expanded their following, largely on the strength of viscerally charged tracks like “Rooster Tattoo” (a cut from their self-titled effort that’s now surpassed 3.7 million streams on Spotify). The band have continued to pursue their potent instincts on recent singles like “Ramon Ayala,” a freewheeling anthem named for the famed Mexican singer/songwriter whose music served as an essential part of the soundtrack to Yanez’s childhood. “Some of our songs are pure fun, and some will hit you in the gut and make you cry—it all just depends on what’s in my heart in that moment,” says Yanez.

With their third full-length due out in 2022, Giovannie & The Hired Guns remain intent on bringing that unbridled passion to each and every live set. “Anytime we’re onstage the most important thing is connecting with the crowd in a way that makes them feel like they’re part of the show,” says Yanez. “Everyone’s got their struggles and their demons, but hopefully our music can help people let go a little and feel like everything’s going to be okay. I know it’s been the thing that’s kept me sane, and now I just want to keep spreading that love."

Blue-collar, Tennessee native Larry Fleet grew up with a love of music sparked by an eclectic mix of influences spanning Merle Haggard to Marvin Gaye. To make ends meet, he spent tireless hours working construction jobs – never losing sight of his dream to make music. A chance encounter with Jake Owen in 2017 led to a collaborative friendship and an opening slot on the road. Shortly thereafter, Fleet was sharing the stage with one of his heroes - Willie Nelson - and etching his mark in the Nashville songwriting community, co-writing with esteemed tunesmiths Rhett Akins, Brett James, and Kendell Marvel. The hard-working family man is turning heads now with full-length album, Stack of Records (Big Loud Records), produced by Joey Moi, the follow up to his aptly titled first project, Workin’ Hard. Breakout hit “Where I Find God” – a powerful ode to finding peace in a higher power’s presence – is featured on the new set, garnering Fleet praise for his “emotive vocals” (Billboard) and amassing over 22 million official music video views. Fleet is on the road now supporting Morgan Wallen's Dangerous Tour.

From working on the farm as a child, to co-writing Kelsea Ballerini’s hit “Dibs” to honing his own music, Ryan Griffin has always been about blending pure talent with good old hard work and tireless dedication. And, since arriving in Nashville from Florida at seventeen, he’s also always been about guiding his career equally from the gut and the heart. Since his top-streaming song “Woulda Left Me Too” introduced him as a singer with an unusually empathetic hand (and garnered millions of plays on Spotify), Griffin has been working to release music that finds his unique niche between R&B and country, and between fun and true vulnerability. And now, with three new busbee-produced tracks and more on the horizon, Griffin has never been more ready for this moment.

“I’ve never felt more true to myself than I have with this music,” says Griffin. “These songs have never felt so right.” Indeed, “Best Cold Beer,” “Good Company” and “Play It By Heart” are pure Griffin: they’re fun, as soulful and groovy as they are twangy, and uniquely perceptive, packed with razor-sharp insights about living and loving.

The child of hardworking parents who always instilled a deep work ethic in their son, Griffin spend his youth out in the sod fields and, in his down time, wrestling for any say in the car radio stations with his two brothers and his mom – to little success. But in hindsight, it was for the best: he ended up listening to everything from Vince Gill and George Strait to modern pop and R&B once he hit high school, and it shaped him in ways he didn’t even realize at the time.

One evening his father – who also loved Jimmy Buffett – took him to a local country festival, and Griffin’s future suddenly became clear: “I got to see Kenny Chesney and Alan Jackson and all of these dudes,” Griffin remembers. “That’s when I realized this is what I want to do.”

A little boy who would hum melodies almost before he could talk, Griffin was always a musical kid, but his father, who raised two more sports-focused sons before him, didn’t know quite what to do with him. So, one day, he pulled out the phone book.

“He said ‘I’m going to call everyone who has something to do with music and find out what to do with this kid’,” Griffin remembers. “He sat there for hours and there was finally this dude who answered the phone, and he had a studio in his garage which was kind of unheard of. My pops said, ‘alright we’ll be there this week.'”

Griffin went in and recorded a little demo, and that was it. He spent the rest of his teenage years opening for the likes of Neil McCoy and Highway 101, and playing any stage he could. Then, at seventeen, he finally followed his dreams to Nashville, enrolling at Belmont University, first in the voice program and then, afraid all the training would massage the character form his sound, in the Music Business program. And, like most promising graduates, he hit all the milestones: he won the country music showcase, played the Best of the Best, and scored an internship at Broken Bow that saw him hitting the road to help tour manage Jason Aldean.

But it still didn’t all come easy after that: bouncing through a label and a publishing deal, Griffin sometimes wondered if this creative life was becoming too much of a hardship for his young family – but it was his wife who told him to stay the path and keep pursuing his dreams. So in 2017, he released his EP, Sake of the Summer, with “Woulda Left Me Too” now topping five million streams – and “Dibs” going to number one.

Having already opened for the likes of Ballerini, Lady Antebellum and Old Dominion, Griffin will take these songs on the road this summer at select festival dates while he hones his record. One of Rolling Stone’s 10 New Country Artists You Need to Know he’s also been highlighted on 2018 Ones to Watch lists by AOL, AXS, Country Fancast, NY Country Swag, PopDust and Thought Catalog – and all as a result of keeping his eye on his ultimate goal, no matter the circumstances.

“I always knew in my heart if I kept fighting, if I kept pushing and kept grinding,” he says, “I’d get there. This is my calling.”

Niko Moon has really clear memories. Music, cars, school. How much his parents loved each other, created a place where life was an adventure – and what you had was all you needed.

His dad, a drummer turned truck driver, loved old cars. As a boy, he remembers a Falcon, “red interior, and the carpet. The way it smelled.” He used to love to pile in with his dad, riding around, going to get donuts
– and listening to music.

“I was 8 or 9, and I didn’t get it,” he laughs. “It was John Prine. My dad’s favorite was ‘One Red Rose.’ It’s funny. I knew all the words. I’d be singing along without a clue, but loving it... loving the line ‘What I never knew, I never will forget...’”

Like Prine, Moon’s finger is on simple things that really matter; easy joy and how to find it, loving where you are and finding ways to write about it so everyone – the really smart, the can’t be-bothered – can find their way to the bliss. It’s what Moon seeks to capture and sow in his songs.

Growing up an hour outside of Atlanta, back when it was country not exurbia, life moved at a different pace. People knew each other, took their time, shared a meal on Sunday with their family and pitched in when someone needed a hand.

Moon wanted to extract the essence of growing up in small-town Georgia. Banjo forward, swaggy back beat, guitars that tang as much as twang. Sonic tags, melodies that tumble and moments that embody all the warm welcome and friendliness that defined his life as a kid listening to his mama play Alison Krauss in her car, his debut album GOOD TIME creates an old school sort of country ethos that also drags a bit of Michael Franti, Prine, the Eagles and Outkast through songs that simmer, stir and sizzle in all the right places.

“In middle school, I started having my own opinions about everything,” he’s quick to offer. “Nirvana, Offspring, Green Day, Sister Hazel, Outkast, Tupac, Biggie. That drum and bass rhythm section of hip- hop, I just fell in love with. Didn’t know what they were talking about, either, but I really loved the way the drums knocked me out!

“My hair was all long. I was wearing basketball jerseys, JNCOs, playing hacky sack before school. I didn’t know what I was, so I was taking it all in, trying to figure out who I was.”

All of it turned out to be more than anyone could’ve bargained for. A musically curious kid, he remembers watching his dad practicing drums in the garage. “I got chills. I couldn’t comprehend how he was doing it,” he remembers. “I was so little, but he was in a touring regional country/rock band, had hair down to his waist. He gave it up, made the decision it was better for his family to just drive. I always respected him for that. You know, he was getting up at 4 a.m. to provide for his family.

“But he was such a fan of music, of songwriters. To just sit and listen to what they did with the story and the language. He – and my mom, who had the sweetest voice – were always singing to me. There’s a rhythm to that, too.”

That rhythm is shot through every track on GOOD TIME, a self-cultivated positivity starter kit. Whether the staccato/dobro punctuated laundry list of ‘can’ts’ that forms “GOOD AT LOVING YOU,” the double entendre “WAY BACK,” the slinky, finger-snapping “SMALL TOWN STATE OF MIND,” or the strummy philosophy of “WITHOUT SAYIN’ A WORD,” Moon recognizes you can’t have heart without the beat.

“The rhythm, the groove, the lyric: it’s all important,” he protests, trying to home in on his sweet spot. “The songwriter in me says it’s the words; but at the end of the day, it’s the rhythm. Rhythm’s the more elemental thing. The head and the heart, right? The heart is deeper a lot of time, and I want my music to move people. When they love the way it makes them feel, they’ll get there. But... I want to reach the ones who love the lyric, who really focus on what you’re saying, too.”

If the secret sauce is the alchemy, it’s been years in the slow-steeping. Not only did Moon produce Franti’s acclaimed Stay Human, Vol. 2, he’s been the secret weapon for Zac Brown for almost a decade. In love with music, the young kid caught up with the circus, “back at the Dixie Tavern on Wednesday nights, 200 people with the line wrapped around the bar and across the back. ‘Chicken Fried,’ ‘Toes,’ ‘Free,’ yes, but he would do Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Keith Whitley. And his picking, there’s always a hook built into the chord, even when he’s just playing G, C, D.”

Writing, traveling, seeing the world, Moon absorbed a precision and commitment to music that was exacting, even as it embodied simple pleasures. “Everyone in that band is so good. Spending 10 years watching them arrange and create was intense. Relentlessly authentic and refusing to adapt to other people’s ideas of what you should be was a real lesson.”

Ten years was also spent living the life. In the rock & roll Jetstream, Moon confesses, “I had it in my mind to be a real artist you had to live this life: always moving on, lonely, smoking a lot of cigarettes, lots of girls, drugs and drinking. That Jack Kerouac way of you have to suffer a little to really be an artist. But that was a story I invented...”

Tragedy collided with magic. With an engagement imploding in the most high-impact way – see the sinewy “DRUNK OVER YOU” – Moon sought higher ground. Young, talented and good-looking, it was easy to shut off, shutdown and remain aloof. But that’s when he met Anna, who Facebook friended him after a photographer she was thinking of using showed her Moon’s picture in his photo portfolio.

“I was playing Atlanta, so I invited her to the show,” the reformed player remembers. “She came, and was so beautiful. I thought we were gonna hang out, but she stayed two minutes, told me she liked the show and left.”

A proper date, a real conversation and the news that she, too, was a songwriter intrigued him. Unaware that she’d already appeared in Italian Vogue, he asked her to play a song. He was stunned. “She didn’t know how good she was.”

Smiling now, he confesses, “I was in love at first sight, but that creative force changed everything. I knew she’d understand me, get me – and while she was from an hour north of Atlanta and I was from an hour west of Atlanta, we were basically from the same small town.”

Though they were writing for her UK pop deal, they never stopped collaborating. As importantly, they had fun. Even in the lean years, the pair created joy where they were with what they had – and it seeped into their songs, their sounds and the way they saw the world.

“I’ve never cared about playing solos, only how the songs feel,” Moon explains. “When I was renting a room from my buddy for $200 a month and making $100 a night, Anna was right there, and she got that, too. She still does.

“We were lying in bed one night, talking and ‘LAST CALL’ just dropped out. The last line of the chorus, ‘If lovers are like alcohol, then you’re my last call...’ It hit home, because I’d been drinking so heavy when I met her, I was missing all the good stuff. Then I met her, and well, you hear the songs.”

The songs, absolutely. The cascading wonders of the world “DIAMOND,” which his lover overwhelmingly outshines, the arcing be-in-the-moment “LET IT RIDE,” the harmony slathered “NO SAD SONGS” and the 2x Platinum No. 1 debut single “GOOD TIME” all bear witness to Moon’s hybrid sound and spirit. “When you’re in a beautiful moment, soak that up, bring it in and watermark your memories with a song, with these songs. Find a way to remember...

“I got a tattoo that says, ‘This, too, shall pass.’ Me and my dad both did, because he used to tell me that, and it’s true. If you can find ways to remember, to hold on to the feelings and everything in that moment, that’s the deal. It’s so simple: I’m the first person to tell you I’m just trying to make people happy. Life is so short; you’re here, and then you’re gone. I want to enjoy every moment – and if (the songs) are the best thing we can give people, do for each other, then I’m all about it.”

So much so, that Moon holed up at home and started playing around with sounds, rhythms, grooves and Miss Anna Moon. Between them, they crafted 14 songs that distill the essence of who they are, how they were raised, where they grew up and the things that matter. Laughing, he says, “Finding Anna was really finding myself. We both exist in this music, in these songs – and in this life, what makes you happy is love, whether Anna or your friends, your family and the way you choose to see the world. These songs, I hope, create a space to pick the beauty in a bad day... and make you bob your head a little.”

Moon’s latest effort, COASTIN’, is available now.

“This is me,” says Priscilla Block. “Love it or leave it.”

It’s that kind of attitude towards life, and her fearless music-making, that has made the rising country star one of the genre’s most exciting new artists and one of its most authentic and relatable voices. One part endless party, one part unmitigated honesty, and one part best friend who always gives it to you straight, even when it hurts, Priscilla’s debut album, Welcome to the Block Party, finds an artist who is redefining ‘three chords and the truth’ for an entirely new generation.

Though she came to prominence in 2020, Priscilla’s rise has been years in the making, full of hard work, long hours, and country grit. Originally from Raleigh, NC, she moved to Nashville to pursue music shortly after high school after being encouraged by her mom to pick up the guitar when she found one in the attic of the house she shared with her four siblings. “I auditioned for every single singing show,” she remembers with a laugh. “Then as soon as I could leave town, I packed my bags and moved to Nashville.”

From then on, Priscilla dedicated every waking hour she could to songwriting. She built a close group of collaborators – including her roommate Sarah Jones – and even made a fake booking company to try and secure the band gigs around town. She played outside of Bridgestone arena during big concert nights, and “the hustle was at an all-time high,” she says, nannying, dog walking, and selling goods on Craigslist just to pay the bills. “Anything I could do was how I got by.”

TikTok, while thoroughly driving pop culture in myriad ways, had not yet made inroads with a country fanbase: until Priscilla came along. When she started posting songs like “Thick Thighs” and “PMS” in the middle of lockdown, to continue to share her music with her fans, she would never have imagined that she would soon top the iTunes Country and All-Genre song charts.

Still, even with the success of “Thick Thighs” and “PMS,” Priscilla was still broke and broken hearted – so in the summer of 2020 she decided to go to a nearby bar where she, to add insult to injury, ran into an ex-boyfriend. A few days later, during a FaceTime writing session with friends, they wrote “Just About Over You,” and “it was the song that completely changed my life,” Priscilla says. Not only was it entirely funded on social media by fans after becoming a viral moment online, it went to the top of the charts.

“It went to number one on all-genre iTunes, and I am sitting there next to Harry Styles and Billie Eilish on the charts,” Priscilla says. “I was just watching as it exploded, and that was when I felt the industry turn around and see me. We started getting calls from everybody.”

Soon after, Priscilla signed her record deal and was on her way to making a self-titled EP, followed by her first full-length album: Welcome to the Block Party, named for how she refers to her signature sound of country pop and southern rock that is as rowdy as it can be tender and confessional.

Since “Just About Over You,” her fans have waited patiently for her own full-length debut. That time has come: Welcome to the Block Party is the perfect meeting place for both listeners new and old, with Priscilla showing multiple sides of her artistry but never abandoning what fans fell in love with from the very beginning. Hilarious and brazenly honest (“I’ve been eating carbs since ’95,” she sings) “Thick Thighs” offered a perspective far too unheard of in the land of manicured celebrity, and it was an overnight success. Her blunt – and twangily infectious – lyrics helped Priscilla amass not only a huge social media following but a growing and dedicated fanbase as well.

At the core is Priscilla’s connection with her fans: she remains steadfast in her commitment to speaking directly to them and always letting them peer straight into her world. “I’ll never try and be something that I am not, and I let that be known on social media,” she says. “I show my highs, my lows, I show myself put together and falling apart. I talk about my body and being a curvy girl. I think it’s so important for fans to really know me.”

Welcome to the Block Party is this approach in album form. From the songs like “Heels in Hand” and “Ever Since You Left” that detail the many dynamics of a relationship from the crying to the kiss-offs, to “My Bar” that flips the genre’s gender roles, to the album’s closer “Peaked in High School,” written as a victory lap for anyone who may not have been the homecoming king or queen.

“I write about what I know,” Priscilla says. “If that’s heartbreak or struggle or owning my flaws and being unapologetically me.” Doing things her own way has paid off. Pegged as a 2021 Artist to Watch by Amazon Music, PANDORA, Spotify, CMT, The Boot, MusicRow, HITS, Sounds Like Nashville, Country Now, Music Mayhem and more, Priscilla’s streaming has topped 250 million and rising. With Welcome to the Block Party, Priscilla rolls out the welcome mat even further, because she’s truly just getting started.

“You get the funny, you get the sassy, you get the trashy, you get the sad,” Priscilla says of Welcome to the Block Party. “You get everything that makes me, me.”

Rolling through the “Decade of Decadence” like a 50-ton freight train, iconic bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, and Poison (to mention only a few) made the 1980’s a musical era the likes of which we’re doubtful to see again. Millions upon millions of records were sold, and concert venues around the world sold out within seconds when these bands were announced as headliners...

In 2001, lamenting the heyday of hairbands, one Chicago band sought to rekindle the flame for these Gods of Rock by tapping into the nostalgic and undeniable energy of that bygone era. They called themselves Hairbanger’s Ball.

Rewind to 2015, when Crandall was still at Colorado Mesa University, and he was learning how to play guitar in his dorm room after suffering a shoulder injury that benched the college athlete. “I was honing my skills as a songwriter and a guitar player, and I started building an audience online. I would see someone was a fan of a certain artist and direct them to my own cover of their popular song. At the time, I didn’t know I was using social media as a discovery tool in the way we know it now, but I’d do that as often as time allowed until I had 100,000 followers.”That dedication to truly connecting one-on-one with Day One fans and new fans has stuck with Crandall ever since. He still won’t let anyone on his team take the reins and be his voice on social media. If you get a direct message from Crandall, it’s really from Crandall.”

With that exact purpose in mind -- and his parents’ blessing -- Crandall packed up his Nissan Pathfinder in 2016 and drove himself straight to Nashville. “My car was packed so tight that if you opened a door, my whole life would fall out. And I knew nobody. I found a roommate through the one guy I knew, and then I started going to writers’ rounds – asking everyone I met to grab coffee. I grabbed a million coffees that year I moved here,” he says.

He recalls finding inspiration from other singer-songwriters who moved to Nashville and were not overnight sensations. “Keith Urban had lots of things that didn’t turn out, but I admire that tenacity. Same with Luke Combs. If you came to town and got told ‘No,’ but succeeded anyway, that’s inspiring,” he says now. And things are different today, because of the way fans find music. “You don’t have to wait for the industry to let you in. You can build a fanbase by going directly to them, and always putting fans first. I still spend an hour a day connecting with my fans. People tell me everything.”

But country’s not all that influenced Crandall. While there was once a section in every music store for every genre, those lines have blurred. Songs from Nelly, Mario, Macklemore, Justin Bieber and more have all made their way into Crandall’s headspace and ultimately, into his music.

Running the numbers on Spencer Crandall:

Crandall has amassed over 200M streams across all platforms as an independent artist, with two album releases debuting at No.1 on the iTunes country charts. Crandall’s hit-song “My Person” has over 52M streams and reached No. 1 on

SiriusXM, and “Made” has notched over 19M streams, debuted at No.2 on the all-genre iTunes chart and No.4 on Billboard’s Country Digital Songs Sales Chart, and also made it to No.1 on Sirius XM.

Nashville’s most unpredictable hit maker ERNEST is “The Charmer” (MusicRow), a triple threat talent and one of Music City’s on the rise artist/writers that’s changing the status quo. As a chart-topping songwriter, he fuses influences ranging from Eminem to George Jones, creating a twist-heavy verse style that’s become his signature, proving its mettle, and earning him five #1 hits to date. The eccentric free spirit launched his debut single to country radio “Flower Shops” feat. Morgan Wallen in January to 88 first week stations, the #1 most added single of the week, and was Top 25 after just six weeks. His debut full-length album of the same name - FLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM) – is out now, showing off the more classically country side of his craft. ERNEST appeared alongside 90s country legend David Lee Murphy and labelmate Ben Burgess on HIXTAPE: Vol. 2 track “Red Dirt Clouds” last fall, and his podcast Just Being ERNEST is in its third season, hosting guests like Keith Urban, Diplo, Jason Aldean, Bobby Bones, and Craig Wiseman, with many more to come.
