Drawn to the storytelling aspects of country music, Dylan Schneider started performing and writing songs at the age of 14, after meeting Brett Eldredge and singing with him on-stage during a concert. After that, he began posting videos to his Facebook page, where he’d cover popular Country songs, gaining a devoted online following. Since then, Schneider has made a name for himself in the Country music community, forging a sound that merges modern pop sensibilities with a down-home feel. He’s been named a “Breakthrough Artist to Watch” by Amazon Music, an “Artist to Watch” by Pandora, Taste of Country and Sounds Like Nashville and declared “Country Music’s Next Rising Star” by Billboard. He’s toured with Florida Georgia Line, Morgan Wallen, Kane Brown, Scotty McCreery, Dan + Shay and more, co-wrote Dustin Lynch’s Top 5 hit song “Momma’s House,” scored two RIAA-certified Gold records, accumulated over 1.8M social media followers and banked an upwards of 350M on-demand streams (and counting). Signed to BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, the MusicRow-praised “Next Big Thing” released his latest EP, Bad Decisions, on April 26th, right before making his Stagecoach Festival debut performance. Embracing his irresistible rock-n-roll edge and unrestrained pop-country swagger that gained him over 500,000 social media followers in just a few months, the six-track EP features his viral hits “Ain’t Missin’ You” and “Bad Decisions.” Kicking off 2024 on Nate Smith’s “World On Fire” Tour, Schneider will join Kane Brown on his “In The Air” Tour this fall.

Nashville might be known as a 10 year town, a place where it takes a decade or more to get noticed. But for River House Artists/Warner Music Nashville’s Austin Snell, the rules have never really applied.

You’re not supposed to fuse hard-rocking sonic aggression with the deep-feeling confessions of a country troubadour. You’re not supposed to just drift into Nashville with a battered old guitar and write a career-launching hit, either. But Snell has done both. And now, just one year into his Music City tenure, he’s well on his way to making “grunge country” as familiar a term as “honky tonk.”

After his gritty “Excuse the Mess” gathered 1 million streams in its first week of independent release, Snell has gone on to drop a handful of hard-core country rockers, with momentum building behind the sound. A quarter of a million TikTok followers over 36 million total streams. Big time playlist placements on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora and more. A rare SiriusXM Highway Find accolade – the same one bestowed on now-superstars like Maren Morris and Luke Combs. And distinction as just the second artist ever chosen for SiriusXM’s Artist Accelerator program.

It all points to that rare sort of star who has found his mark early – and there’s more on the way. But if you ask the humble hit maker, he’s no visionary genius. Just a guy who loves hard rock and country in equal measure, with a deep understanding of struggle … and a voice that sheds light in the dark.

“It seems to keep clicking, and I don't really know why,” the emerging star admits. But that modesty belies a wild ride.

A native of small town Dudley, Georgia, Snell grew up with a modern rock-loving father and a mother drawn to country radio – a fact reinforced by the family’s collection of four total CDs, ones by Nickelback, Three Doors Down, Creed and Alan Jackson. Traveling the South to race go-karts on weekends, Snell ended up internalizing every note of those records, and feeling at home whenever they were playing, no matter where he was at the time. But it wasn’t until joining the Air Force that music became a passion.

Nineteen years old, 1,000 miles from home and alone for the first time, he passed the long evenings with a cheap acoustic guitar, belting out the same tunes he grew up on with a few clumsy chords. But you can only pretend to be Chad Kroeger for so long. Already obsessed and unable to visit home due to COVID-19, Snell dove into writing songs like he heard on country radio – heartfelt, melodic, and filled with clever hooks. Then his mom did what mom’s do.

“I let my mom talk me into posting my stuff on Facebook for our friends,” he says with a chuckle. “People ended up liking it, so that's what I did in my free time. I would write songs and just post them, to see what people thought.”

Unsurprisingly, his audience soon grew, and the wild ride got wilder. After returning home and deciding he’d rather write songs than work a shift, Snell made up his mind to try Nashville. But after doctors found a benign tumor in his back, it was the spring of 2022 before he finally arrived.

At first, Snell just went with the flow, learning the ropes of Nashville’s well established co-writing scene. But at 24 years old, and only 5 years after first picking up a guitar, things were about to change.

“I moved with the plan of not putting anything out until I found something different, something nobody else was doing that felt authentic for me,” Snell explains. “I didn't know how long that was gonna take, but then we wrote ‘Excuse the Mess,’ and it just opened my world.”

Co-written with Presley Aaron and Christian Yancey, the low-down power ballad was the first track Snell wrote with a hard-rock edge – and it was definitely different. With distorted, dark-energy guitars, thundering drums and a wounded vocal at the end of its emotional rope, it mixed metal toughness with the gritty imagery of a classic country depression ballad, soaked in booze and strung out on love – and like all the best Nashville tunes, it was true. Feeling alone and overwhelmed during a rough patch in his Air Force days, Snell sent up a prayer and signed off with the eventual hook, “excuse the mess.”

“I don't express myself a whole lot, so these songs are kind of my way to do it,” he says. “I posted that one online the same day we wrote it, and by the next day, it had over 600,000 views.”

After that, the rising star released two more hard-charging, left-of-center anthems (an unexpected cover of Cassadee Pope’s “Wasting All These Tears” and “Get There First”), signed publishing and record deals, and has now begun the next chapter.

Tunes like “Send You the Bill” follow in the footsteps of “Excuse the Mess,” another shadowy example of soul crushing pain wrapped in a grungy exterior – like a brokenhearted cowboy ballad for the modern age. Likewise, “Cold” stands as a slow-burning rocker with an icy message to a former flame, a somber steel guitar adding some desolate country desperation. But it’s the heavy-hearted power ballad “Pray All the Way Home” where Snell solidifies his sound.

Co-written with Andrew Baylis, Michael Whitworth and Cam Walker, it’s a track about living fast and running hard – and knowing without doubt, your mistakes will catch up eventually. Mixing blacked-out rock aggression with inward facing, late-night country reflection – plus a bit of an electronic buzz – it points the way forward for one of Nashville’s most exciting new talents, proving some rules are really more like suggestions.

It’s only been a year so far. Imagine what 10 will bring.

“I grew up on both sides of this music, so I just hope people know it’s real to me,” Snell explains. “I think that's my main goal, to make my own sound and let everyone know I’m not trying to copy anybody else. I’m going to pave my own way.”

Her debut mixtape, Buckle Bunny, gave the first taste of her addictive blend of country lyrics, pop vocals and hip-hop beats, earning praise from The New York Times, NPR, Billboard, MusicRow and more. This year has skyrocketed Tanner into the spotlight, gracing the stages of some of the biggest domestic and international festivals, landing a feature on Beyonce’s COWBOY CARTER country album, an original on the Twisters soundtrack, as well as several other anthems that continue to push genre boundaries. Just this year, she’s performed on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, and became the first female country artist to perform on the BET Awards. About Dylan Marlowe:
Rooted in the classic skills of country music’s past – but finding new ways to deliver three chords and the truth – Dylan Marlowe is an emerging Sony Music Nashville artist proving tradition and convention are very different things. Drawing on the familiar themes of small-town youth, yet amplified with punk rock propulsion and outside-the-county-line lyricism, his debut album Mid-Twenties Crisis presents the simple truth of a complicated age, spoken plain (just against the grain). Raised in Statesboro, Georgia, the avid outdoorsman’s unique creative path began with an equally-diverse soundtrack, ranging from Eric Church and Kenny Chesney to Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Good Charlotte and Blink-182. A self-taught writer fusing heartland storytelling with hard-edged intensity, Marlowe broke out with an attention-grabbing cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s “drivers license” in 2021, changing the lyrics to reflect his own backwoods story and resulting in more than half-a-million TikTok followers. Marlowe went on to drop a series of self-penned singles and EPs like “Record High” and Dirt Road When I Die, eventually racking up more than 282 million global career streams as an artist, while co-penning Jon Pardi’s Number One hit, “Last Night Lonely.” The 2023 anthem “Boys Back Home” (feat. Dylan Scott) has accounted for more than 112 million streams while becoming his first country radio single, and Marlowe has continued to cultivate an audience on tour with Cole Swindell, Hardy, Brantley Gilbert and more. Building on the momentum with 15 co-written tracks, Mid-Twenties Crisis fuses Nashville story craft and country-punk energy with angsty defiance and a clever smirk, as Marlowe captures the beautiful torment of the 20s decade. Standing apart from his peers while staying true to himself, the rising star reminds country fans that authenticity doesn’t have to be boring. And in fact, the expected might be overrated.

About Tyler Braden:
Tyler Braden has the gritty powerhouse vocal, the expressive pen and the ability to deliver a lyric with complete conviction worthy of a headliner. Braden began crafting his sound as a teenager in Slapout, AL, where he demonstrated his mettle playing four-hour cover sets. He continued to perform between shifts as a firefighter in both Montgomery and Nashville; a set at the homegrown Whiskey Jam concert series in January 2017 paved his path to today. His Warner Music Nashville EP, Neon Grave, combines deep-rooted country tradition with the rollicking, high-energy instincts of a born rock ‘n’ roller. The project’s flagship single, “Try Losing One,” hit No. 1 on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown. Braden is currently making waves with viral track “Devil You Know” – a won’t-back-down anthem that attracted 10+ million views across social media in just two weeks. In April 2024 “Devil You Know” hit the Country radio airwaves, and now touts a whopping 60+ million streams and over 45k ‘creates’ on TikTok for the sure-fire hit. With 385+ million global streams to his name, Braden is now taking stages world-round. After wrapping his first-ever headline tour (The Real Friends Tour), with five of the stops being SOLD OUT, the Alabama native will join Brothers Osborne on their Might As Well Be Us world tour with legs in the UK and Ireland in January 2025. Braden’s previous list of fellow artists that she’s shared the stage with includes Luke Bryan, Brooks & Dunn, Brantley Gilbert, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley and Mitchell Tenpenny. With studio recordings that pack the punch of his propulsive live performances, Braden’s energy and emotion are connecting with fans across the world.

ABOUT ASHLEY COOKE:
With Big Loud / Back Blocks Music Country artist Ashley Cooke, it’s best to know what you’re getting into – because this emerging star is the definition of more than meets the eye. A graceful exterior matched by a casual-cool nature. Skillfully crafted lyrics and a knack for unforgettable performance. Effortless vocal beauty and a bold sense of internal grit, freely mixing it up with the boys while she rallies the girls. And most important, a passion for capturing the magic between heartbeats, each moment as unique as she is. Still early in her journey, being herself has already served Cooke well. It has led to over 270M global streams with chart climbing hits like “Never Til Now” with Brett Young, Ryman and Grand Ole Opry debuts, national TV appearances on ABC’s The Bachelorette and NBC’s TODAY, tours with Luke Bryan, Jordan Davis, Cole Swindell, Brett Young and more.

Hailing from Parkland, Fla. and moved by emotional hit makers like Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Ed Sheeran and more, Cooke embraces the energy of pop and depth of Country, writing her first song by age 11. Cooke moved to Nashville at 18 and attended the prestigious Belmont University – but unlike so many others, she did not study music. After entering the schools revered Country Showcase on a whim and winning, Cooke decided to pursue music for a year. When the pandemic had other plans, Cooke went to TikTok where she built a thriving fanbase, writing and sharing Country music on her own terms.

And now, the next chapter begins with her debut album shot in the dark. Unfolding as if they were ripped from pages of her personal journal, Cooke’s sun-kissed blend of two-lane pop Country is on full display in the collection’s 24 tracks, inspired by true tales of love, heartbreak and all the moments in between. Vincent Neil Emerson is a torchbearer of the Texas songwriter tradition. He channels the straightforward truth-telling and resonance of his songwriting heroes in Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, and Steve Earle into something fresh and distinctly his own. Where his 2019 debut Fried Chicken and Evil Women proved that he is one of the most reverent students of country and Western musical traditions, his follow-up LP, the masterful Rodney Crowell-produced Vincent Neil Emerson, which is out June 25 via La Honda Records/Thirty Tigers, is a brave step forward that solidifies his place as one of music's most compelling and emotionally clarifying storytellers. His songs are cathartic and bluntly honest, never mincing words or dancing around uncomfortable truths.

Raised in Van Zandt County in East Texas by a single mother of Choctaw-Apache descent, Emerson's world changed when he first heard Townes Van Zandt's music. "To hear a guy from Fort Worth say those kinds of things and make those songs was pretty eye opening," the now 29-year-old songwriter says. "I had never heard songwriting like that before." He's spent the better part of the past decade honing his songwriting and performance chops playing bars, honky-tonks, and BBQ joints across the Fort Worth area. His first album Fried Chicken and Evil Women, which he wrote in his mid-twenties and came out on La Honda Records—the label he co-founded that now includes a roster of Colter Wall, Local Honeys, and Riddy Arman—is a snapshot of his growth as a songwriter and stage-tested charm with songs like "Willie Nelson's Wall" and "25 and Wastin' Time" expertly combining humor and tragedy.

These marathon gigs and the undeniable songs on his debut introduced Emerson to Canadian songwriter Colter Wall, who quickly became a close friend and took him on tour. With Wall's audience, and sold out theater shows on runs with Charley Crockett, Turnpike Troubadours, and many others, Emerson found his niche. "It took a guy from Canada bringing me on tour for people to actually start paying attention," says Emerson. "Before that it was a grind like anything else, just trying to make a living." Crockett is another staunch early supporter of Emerson's and covered Fried Chicken highlight "7 Come 11" on his 2019 LP The Valley.

Like every working musician, 2020 pulled the rug out from under Emerson. With the pandemic shuttering live music venues and cancelling promising tours, he processed the upheaval the only way he knew how: by writing his ass off. "At the beginning of quarantine, I was really frustrated with everything else going on," says Emerson. "Everything was falling apart around me, and I didn't know what to do." He took to his writing shed and came up with the single "High On Gettin’ By," a gorgeous song full of self reflection and resilience: the most autobiographical thing he's ever written. He sings, "I got my first child on the way / And the bills are all unpaid / I should have finished high school / Got a job and learned to save / But the words keep on fallin’ / And the highway keeps on callin’ / To my pen."

That song proved to be a turning point for Emerson. "After I wrote it, the floodgates opened up for me in my songwriting and emotionally," he says. " Songwriting has always been a therapeutic thing for me. So I just started writing more from the heart." Allowing himself to be open and revealing some of the most intimate details of his life was a scary, yet freeing, prospect for Emerson, especially on the raw and devastating "Learnin' To Drown," which addresses his father's suicide. "I've been trying to write a song about my father's passing for a while," he says. "I was just having a hard time processing that emotionally. Before I was always trying to find a way to kind of dance around it and not really give too much away. But there's no beating around the bush here." He sings, "Well there ain’t much that lasts too long / All the rights that I took wrong / All the lefts that still ain’t gone / They will be here / Here in my sad bastard song."

Elsewhere, on "The Ballad of the Choctaw-Apache," he sings of how in the 1960s, the Choctaw-Apache tribe of Sabine Parish in Louisiana was forced to sell "180,000 acres of ancestral land" to the government, uprooting them from their home. Emerson pulls no punches in his narration of the historic injustice, channeling the essence of traditional folk songs. He sings, "Well you take away their home / And you claim what you don’t own/ Well I guess it’s just the American way." Emerson explains the track: "This happened not too long ago and it affected my grandparents and my family directly. I've always strayed away from trying to write political songs, but this is more about human rights. For those people who were stripped of their land like that, it's still tough."

His intense and productive writing sessions produced ten finished songs over the course of just a couple of months, a body of work so personal that he knew he would have to name the final product Vincent Neil Emerson. These demos caught the attention of Texas country and folk icon Rodney Crowell, who signed on to produce and record the LP. "Rodney is a hero of mine," says Emerson. "He wanted to make something that serves the songs, as opposed to making a record trying to put focus on production or the playing. It was an honor to work with him." Crowell had similar high praise for Emerson: "if he grows on the public the way he’s grown on me, it’s possible young Vincent will plant the flag of his [songwriting] forebears firmly in the consciousness of a whole new generation." At the studio, Emerson tracked the songs with a crack team of session players put together by Crowell. "Because of them, we were able to get those songs in one take," he says.

You can hear that no-frills approach on the barnstorming "High on the Mountain," a bluegrass tune that highlights Emerson's versatility as a performer and depth as a lyricist. On first listen, the track opens with upbeat fiddles and blistering guitar feels, but Emerson's voice achingly sings of heartbreak, loss, and irrevocable change: "I pulled into Austin‘ / Cause Fort Worth ain’t the same." Opener "Texas Moon" grapples with home after so many days away on tour: "I been missin’ home / But I just can’t ever stay / Well it don’t feel like ramblin’ / 'Til ya take it day by day." Emerson is never overly sentimental, and across this album, he makes a point to just say how he feels in the most straightforward and real way he can.

"I think I've always gravitated towards artists that are honest about what they're doing," says Emerson. "It's the most important thing because people have a chance to connect to a little more if you're telling the truth."

As a recent graduate from Indiana University, Hank Ruff has been building a name for himself throughout the state of Indiana while being in college. After his latest EP "Hellbender" went #1 on the iTunes all-genre chart, Ruff hopes to further this momentum by beginning to play all over the midwest and beyond. Now that he is finished with school and pursuing music full-time, Ruff has dreams to bring his more neo-traditional brand of country music all over the country.

Hank was born and raised in Southern Indiana, and has been playing country music around the state since the age of 11. Named after Hank Williams Sr., Ruff began playing the mandolin and playing at bluegrass jams, and eventually picking up the guitar and learning classic country songs like "Hey Good Lookin" and "Mama Tried". Ruff started playing with his dad's band, "The Dew Daddies", and soon after that he began writing songs with his dad by the time he was in high school. Most of Ruff's catalogue is comprised of songs that the two wrote together, including "If the Boot Fits". Filled with steel guitar and fiddle, these songs embody what Ruff and his music is all about: combining elements of the traditional country sound with modern influences, and bringing a little more of the classic elements of the distinctive country sound back into mainstream country music.

It’s been a breakout year for Corey Kent. In addition to being named a CMT Listen Up Artist, as well as a member of The Opry Next Stage Class of 2023, he released his major label debut album, Blacktop, featuring the No. 1, Platinum-certified hit, “Wild as Her,” and has already surpassed 750 million career streams. The album was a nod back to the Oklahoma native/Dallas based country star’s many miles driving on the blacktop to hone his craft taking music to the fans anywhere he could play. Never one to rest on his laurels, the road warrior is keeping his foot on the gas in 2024 and will be burning up the blacktop once again with his headlining “Black Bandana Tour.” After numerous sellouts on the 2024 Black Bandana Tour in places like New York, Boston, Atlanta and more, Kent announces the 2nd leg of his tour where he will be joined by Lori Mckenna, Lanie Gardner, and Tyler Halverson on select dates. The headlining international tour will kick-off in Fort Worth, TX on Jan 18, and trek across both the U.S. andU.K. with stops in Denver, London, Dallas, Cleveland, Chicago and more.Drawing inspiration from The Eagles, Keith Richards, Turnpike Troubadours and more, Kent’s bandana-wearing Rock ‘N’ Roll spirit comes to life on the stage. And after over a decade ofpaying dues, his career has not been without starts and stops ... that perseveranceserves as the inspiration behind the tour’s name. “It all started with a bunch of Oklahoma boys piling into a red van called ‘Rooster’ and taking any gig we could get. We believed our live show would speak for itself, and we’d hustle to the merch table after our set to sling t-shirts in hopes of making enough to fill up the van to get to the next show. All those sleepless nights in the van, all the opening slots, all themiles, all the shirt slinging, all the blood, the sweat and the tears PAY OFF TODAY!” Kent reflects. “Today, I’m stoked to announce our first ever headline tour starting here in the USA and then hopping across the pond! Time to make some memories.”Kent finds himself musically at the intersection of rock infused country, heartland values, and red dirt grit. Still in his 20’s, he has built an incredible fanbase, developed his live show for the last 15 years, and is positioned as one of country music’s next breakout stars. “For us, the black bandana has been what we’ve picked up in times when everyone thought we should wave a white flag to surrender,” Kent furthers. “I’ve spent a lot of years raising my black bandana high and letting 'em know that I wasn’t giving up that easy. I’m so excited to still be doing what I love and can’t wait to get on the road this fall and see all those black bandanas waving back at me.”

In 2023 the adventure-seeking road veteran joined Parker McCollum on tour in addition to playing festivals and in front of 15,000+ fans a night on Jason Aldean’s 42-city “Highway Desperado” tour.In 2024 Corey was direct support for Parker McCollum’s Burn It Down Tour before launching his first headline tour which had several sellouts.

Drake White grew up singing in his church’s youth choir in Alabama before becoming one of Country music’s most spirited innovators, earning four Top 40 hits and traveling the country on multiple nationwide tours. After an explosive arrival and a series of grassroots hits, Hudson Westbrook is now taking his place among a new generation of country singer-songwriters. Self-taught and proudly rough-around-the-edges, the rising star made his splash debut with “Take It Slow” in 2024 (while still enrolled at Texas Tech) and is now pushing ahead, revitalizing the organic country-rock of the Red Dirt revolution – but refusing to be held down by his roots. Hailing from the small town of Stephenville, Texas, and raised on everything from George Strait to gangsta rap, he began playing guitar in 2020 and wrote his first song after enrolling in college in 2023. "Take It Slow” was one of the first songs Westbrook ever wrote and its edgy vocal charm and warm country-rock buzz made it a bonafide hit. Westbrook followed with the windows-down anthem “Two Way Drive” and the propulsive new single, “5 to 9” – a showcase of the young star’s song-crafting growth, on top of his innate skill. “5 to 9” was joined by the narrative stunner “Johnny Walker” and followed by “Dopamine,” which brings out the essence of youthful love and connection juxtaposed with the typical college lifestyle. Hudson's latest single, "House Again," his take on a heartbreak anthem. Intent on taking the Texas country spirit far beyond the state line, non-stop travel to meet concert demand includes headlining dates and a tour supporting honky-tonk hitmakers Midland in late 2024, with more new music and shows on the way.
