Old Dominion Pop Up Show
JUNE 24, 2022
Old Dominion lit up Joe’s with an unforgettable surprise pop-up show the night before their Soldier Field performance with Kenny Chesney. Announced only hours before on social media, the race was on as fans rushed to Joe’s for the chance to get inside. For those who didn’t make it through the doors, the band kicked things off by performing a few songs from the rooftop, turning the street below into an impromptu concert. As if that wasn’t enough, the night reached legendary status when Kenny Chesney joined Old Dominion on stage for a surprise performance of “Save It For A Rainy Day.” One of those rare, unforgettable nights that instantly became part of Joe’s history.

Garth Brooks Dive Bar Tour
July 16, 2019
Garth Brooks kicked off his seven-city Dive Bar Tour at Joe’s on Weed Street, delivering what may go down as the greatest Monday night of all time. Ahead of the show, Brooks sat down with Jimmy Kimmel to discuss the tour and premiered his new single, “Dive Bar,” which aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live! later that evening.
From the moment he took the stage, the energy was undeniable—especially when Brooks told the crowd, “You’re gonna pick the set list.” Guests were treated to an unforgettable performance featuring beloved hits such as “Friends in Low Places,” “Two Piña Coladas,” “Fishin’ in the Dark,” “Ain’t Goin’ Down (’Til the Sun Comes Up),” and, of course, “The Dance,” among many others.
This intimate performance by Garth Brooks and his band was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were honored to be the venue where the Dive Bar Tour officially began.
