Formed by actual friends from school, Friends From School aims to recapture the glory days, one 2000s bop at a time. Just like Fleetwood Mac, some of our members have dated, some dislike each other, but mostly we are thrilled at the opportunity to keep playing music after (for some) 20 years of friendship.

Before Andrew Weishar passed in October of 2012 of colorectal cancer, Andrew asked his younger brother Dan to "pay forward" the acts of kindness and generosity shown to their family during his battle. In early 2013, Weish4Ever was created to honor this selfless request, specifically by: easing the financial burden, bringing joy, and ensuring patients and their families know they're not alone in their fight against cancer. With this concert, our goal is to raise money for future beneficiaries of the foundation and raise awareness for an incredible cause.

THE BASEMENT BUMS

The Basement Bums are a Chicago-based four-piece rock band made up of resident physicians who met in medical school. They’ve been playing bars throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs for years, frequently performing at fundraisers and community events where live music supports a good cause.

Their setlist mixes indie and alternative staples, classic rock, blues, and crowd-favorite sing-alongs. Drawing from artists like Queen, ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Marcus King, and Chris Stapleton, the Bums bring a high-energy show that keeps people dancing, singing along, and hanging around for another round.

With his strong gravel-toned vocals, wayward spirit, intentional songwriting and overall mystique, the fast-rising singer/songwriter Jackson Dean has earned a reputation for his impressive live show and thought-provoking, lyric-driven music. Caroline Jones is a country singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist hailed by Rolling Stone as a “guitar heroine” reviving ’90s pop-country, balancing a fast-rising solo career with her role as a full-time member of Zac Brown Band. Her third album, Homesite (2023), features collaborations with Vince Gill and Zac Brown Band, following the success of Antipodes, which debuted Top 5 on the iTunes Country chart and produced her first Top 30 country radio hit. Jones has toured and collaborated with icons across genres, cementing her reputation as one of country music’s most versatile modern artists

Singer-songwriter, Drake Milligan, has been hailed a Country traditionalist with his old-school flair and rock n’ roll roots. Making his breakout debut with his critically acclaimed album, Dallas/Fort Worth, and his EP, Jukebox Songs, Milligan has perfected his signature sound. In 2025, he hit the road with Lainey Wilson and Luke Bryan, and released his highly anticipated sophomore album, Tumbleweed. Milligan will close out the year kicking off the “Tumbleweed World Tour,” continuing into 2026.

OTSC is the oldest boys and girls club in Chicago and serves more than 3,000 kids in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the country, West Garfield Park.
